Third, experience. This is a senior role, and we’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing. You’ve got a background in B2B tech, you’re a dab hand at conversion marketing and demand gen, you know how to manage multiple stakeholders, agencies and freelancers. And you’re ready to hit the ground running and get stuff done.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the challenges of our stakeholders and customers and come up with the content strategy to solve them
  • Write clear, confident and conversational copy for a variety of formats
  • Review/edit copy and provide constructive feedback to help everyone improve
  • Collaborate with design, video and other creatives to bring your writing to life
  • Collaborate with campaigns, product marketing, customer advocacy and other stakeholders to get the right content in the hands of the right people
  • Analyze content performance metrics to inform our content strategy
  • Manage an editorial calendar of ongoing content projects
  • Manage internal stakeholders, freelancers, and agencies

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience writing content at a B2B tech scale-up or B2B agency
  • Very strong communication, project management, and relationship skills
  • Experience creating and executing successful content strategies
  • A diverse portfolio — from ads to emails, eBooks to scripts, web copy and more
  • Proven ability to grasp complex concepts and convert them into clear, consumable prose — did we mention the learning curve?
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable with data analytics and using insights to improve performance
  • Experience working with SMEs to create content for multiple audiences
  • Experience managing agencies and freelancers, including briefing, editing and reviewing
  • Preferred: experience working on websites with a focus on UX, SEO and conversion microcopy
  • Preferred: Spanish or French speakers very welcome
