Madhive is currently seeking a Content Marketing Lead to join its growing team.  This role will require a mix of content marketing and strategic communications expertise.  The ideal candidate is a proficient writer and editor, understands content, demand generation and inbound marketing.  This individual has a passion for ‘wowing’ vs. simply settling for ‘ok and expected.’

We are looking for a seasoned, entrepreneurial professional that craft the vision, operationalize, execute and eventually build a new department.  This is a senior manager position, reporting directly to the Vice President, Marketing.  Come join our fast-growing team as we build solutions that rewrite the TV advertising playbook and revolutionize how media is bought and sold.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a strategic plan content marketing from the ground up
  • Develop compelling written and visual content to elevate internal and external visibility of Madhive. You’ll develop a strategic plan to innovate and implement a video-driven content plan.
  • Create an approach to write, edit, source and develop product and thought leadership content, proactively driving strategy and the formation of cross-organization relationships to accomplish goals.
  • Partner across the product marketing, sales enablement and client teams to build and implement the content roadmap.
  • Work directly with the CEO and executive leadership to develop and execute copy and content initiatives
  • Own the development and evolution of the resources section within
  • Identify ways to scale and accelerate SEO efforts.
  • Incorporate new ways to innovate, scale and drive efficiencies, identifying use cases to implement AI.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and drive strategic content communications plans including the planning, process, implementation and impact of the Madhive content calendar.
  • Own the development and content creation for client-facing newsletters, blog, white papers, webinars, research reports, infographics, case studies, social media content etc.
  • Eventually, this role could expand to build/manage a team of content specialists and tap into internal and external resources, while working closely with a talented team of internal creative staff
  • You’ll develop a strategic plan to innovate and implement a video-driven content plan.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 10-15 years in B2B marketing with experience in modern marketing, demand generation, integrated marketing and omni-channel marketing
  • Natural storyteller with a passion for technology, digital marketing, innovation & start-up culture.
  • Ability to thrive fast-paced environments, are flexible and able to roll with changing scenarios.
  • Act a change agent: see ‘ambiguity’ as an opportunity as opposed to a hurdle, thrive on challenging yourself to push beyond conventional thinking.
  • Be a problem solver: make things happen & work well with others to build constructive & effective relationships
  • Seek initiative: volunteer readily; undertake self-development activities; seek increased responsibilities; take independent actions and calculated risks.
  • An eye and passion for creative, ensuring the content not only is written well, but the output looks amazing.
  • Detail-oriented, someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done.
  • Intellectual curiosity to surface insights & implications and use this knowledge to think creatively about solutions.
  • Fantastic writing and editing skills - samples of writing skills will be required
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to carve a path forward with minimal direction
  • Previously created content for a B2B marketing organization, preferably in fast-moving marketing, media or advertising technology organizations
  • Design experience and, at minimum, an ability to evaluate creative output as it pertains to marketing objectives
